Capstone Vietnam (for parents/students)

These are small-scale events that aim to attract a critical mass of students and parents to an offsite venue, i.e., a café or part of a restaurant. Attendees come because they are interested in your institution and what it has to offer based on pre-event digital marketing. Capstone counselors and marketing staff act as facilitators and interpreters for colleagues. Counselors follow up with those who attended the coffee talk and others who registered online but were not able to attend. NOTE: Most of the fee is used to market the event.

We offer online information sessions that are facilitated by Capstone staff. As with the in-person small-scale events, most of the fee is used to market the event. Counselors follow up with those who attended the session and others who registered online but were not able to attend.

Webinars that focus on specific topics of interest to Vietnamese students are free of charge. Follow this link to submit a proposal. 

We offer six packages to accommodate different budgets and goals. Obviously, the higher the cost, the more features are available, including the use of video. The goal of each campaign is to brand your institution and generate quality leads. We organize StudyGlobal Education Fairs every fall and spring in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and Danang. We are planning to add other locations in the years to come. (This is something we used to offer in the pre-COVID era.) These large-scale events give you the opportunity to speak with hundreds students and parents who are interested in your school, and others who are doing “comparison shopping.” They include student volunteers who help collect contact information via the Capstone scanning system using QR codes and barcodes, answer basic questions, and act as interpreters.

You can choose from among four (4) options: 
1) In-person participation: Colleagues travel to Vietnam to represent their institutions. 
2) Use of an in-country representative: This includes alumni, parents, and staff. 
3) Online participation: You chat with students and parents with the assistance of Capstone student volunteers. One will be at the venue to greet visitors, collect contact information for follow-up, answer basic questions, and distribute promotional materials and another will be in one of our offices to facilitate the conversation/translation. 
4) Literature only: A carefully selected and trained Capstone student volunteer greets visitors, answers basic questions, collects contact information for follow-up, and distributes promotional materials. 

Capstone partners receive a 5% discount. Discounts for everyone include early bird (5%) and multi-city, if applicable.

Are you ready to take your recruitment efforts to the next level? Capstone's International Recruitment Hub (IRH), formerly known as International Academic Centers (IAC), may be the best option. This is our premier institutional service that offers full-time in-country representation by a Vietnamese national who represents client institutions exclusively. Since launching this service in 2012 in HCMC, Capstone has hosted country and regional representatives in both offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
We have employed staff who exclusively represented four-year universities, community colleges, and a well-known education company that wanted an in-country presence and time to obtain a business license, hire staff, and set up its own office.

The IRH is a shared facility that serves as a home base from which institutions can promote their programs and services in Vietnam and/or regionally. The hubs provide a modern, multicultural, multi-lingual, and collegial work environment for your representatives to do their work. Our administration and marketing teams support them and include shared reception areas and conference rooms for meetings and presentations on- and offline.
Activities include direct student recruitment, e.g., fair participation, small-scale events, and high school visits; working with an existing local agent network or developing a new one; alumni outreach; and the ability to identify other opportunities in Vietnam. Visiting faculty and staff from IRH institutions are welcome to use the facility. Client institutions can place their staff in either our Hanoi or HCMC office.

We handle printing requests from a variety of institutional clients. The quality is international standard and the cost is usually much less than in the key host countries. Another advantage is that there are no international shipping charges and possible problems with the Vietnam Customs office.
